I banged into my next door neighbours son in the supermarket earlier. I asked after his new born baby, he asked after the chickens And told me how much his Dad was enjoying watching the girls since he has retired.

 

I knew this anyhow, as I have seen him watch them over the wall, and he told me last week that he'd been looking at Eglu's online His wife won't let him have any..... yet

My grandad got an Eglu and four chickens from Onlet, he loves them, they dont have names but he chit chats to them when he thinks no one is looking

The neighbour hasn't heard the chickens in 4 years - they hear Jemima all the time - she did say she likes it though

 

She just shouts and shouts and shout ... for any reason.

.... and just because she can

 

They only time she's quiet is when they're in the tub trug or pond, or eating grapes so have to do one of them to shut her up
