Lesley
Just watching tonights programme - one of the contestants is Ian Jones and he has an Eglu Before the name was announced I said to Carl that I know him - I'm sure we've met at a get-together.........or hen rescue? Did anyone else see it? Edited March 22, 2010 by Guest

Lesley
Yes, he did - we've just finished watching it. I say 'watching it' but I was looking through my photos as well Here's the link to the get-together viewtopic.php?t=13289 - but Dan has obviously tidied up his photos and they're not on there anymore. The Egluowner is Jonesyboy27 I can go to bed happy now that I've remembered all that. I thought there might be a bit more about eggs/hens/Eglus after they'd shown it in the opening credits. Alis girls
Didnt see it but there have been a few people with hens but not seen an Eglu before. I saw the repeat last night of the guy who was raising money for a cancer charity and died 2 months after show of cancer himself. He didnt know he;d got it. So sad
Lesley
Oh, I haven't seen that one - how sad I must admit that they didn't quite show the Eglu - Carl mentioned later that it was just the Eglu run. cover and feeders and the hens. So sad I've seen that one a couple of times now, tis very sad. I think he did the show because his sister had been diagnosed, happily she recovered, but he had an aggressive cancer, unfortunately. Three of the other four guests raised money for the local cancer ward in his name, I think it was something like 'Come dine for Spencer'. The rather snotty younger girl didn't participate, I understand. There's more info on the TV prog website.
Guest
I remember Ian and Pam We looked after their girls a few times. They had a purple eglu I think. A lovely day we had in Stratford, we have a few pictures of us on boats on the river
A chickychickychick-ENN!!
I saw half of this for the first time ever the other day. Was Ian the man who turned up to the last girl's dinner with red sparkly booby pasties attached to his shirt?

By all accounts, he was a lovely guy.
