Hope link works .I know Araucanas are meant to be notoriously difficult to sex, but I am starting to err on boy... some of those tail feathers are looking a bit 'twirly-pointy-downy' and today I tried to introduce the Dorking chick (and changed my mind, that is another story!) and its behaviour - when provoked by small chick I might add  , was rather cockerelly I have to say, more than the two girlie warrens of the same age. Anyone raised Ara's?

When I bought my lavender araucana the breeder went by the leg thickness and comb size. A hen should have a fluffy head and a little fan tail. She wouldn't let me have my hen until she was 16 weeks to be sure of the sex.

I expect someone else who knows for sure will be along soon!
