Mine have been chasing lizards as I hoed out the weeds, they take some catching, it's great sport, they are all worn out and are resting in the shade. Minky got a bit excited and gave me a peck on the leg, I stopped moving the hoe for a second.

Well I am pooped!

 

Had a great day though...we had 112 (I think) hens in the end and all went got rehomed. 112 hens = a lot of nails to clip!

 

I met Patricia W from on here too!!! She was lovely and we managed to sneak an extra hen in her basket...good job too otherwise miss droopy wings would have had to come home with me!

 

No more actual chickies yet but I have cochins pipping as we speak! The three remaining Dom eggs are still in the hatcher and are at Day 24....I can still hear movement from 1....not sure what to do....tempting to leave it to see...might pm Tasha

 

We have ordered dinner in as I am pooped and Justin is "delicate" after a his night out...he has acutally admitted he is not as young as he used to be and can't keep up with the youngun's

I too have had a fabulous day, although I am now cream crackered and slobbed out on the sofa

 

I have done EVERYTHING on my to do list

 

I have also had some great time out with the girls, including a visit from my friend and her daughter who wanted to see the girls

No1 Cochin - Out and drying off in the inccy

No2&3 Cochin - pipping

3 Dom eggs and 1 Cochin egg still in hatcher unpipped but can hear cheeping from some of them
