My waffle for the day : Got there a bit late (half 8 ) today so the sheep already were fed + watered, so I just did the hays. Moved the geese in from outside to in the shed and then swept everywhere. Went on the quad bike to another field today, to tighten the fences - take down the wire fence but leave, posts + put it back on tighter. While the 2 lads were doing that, I toddled off on the quadbike Had to be a sheep dog + herd up some ewes + lambs and move them into the next field with some other sheep in ... they just look at you + run into the nettles where the bike can't go Then went round the boundary (huuge field ) to check I'd got them, all ... and had to go round again just to be sure Got back and the others left at 1ish, so Lewis sat in the sun revising Biology, till daughter came back a few hours later and we fed the ewes + cade lambs Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I didn't think I was burnt at all yesterday, but was in the sun all day and now my cheek is peeling. Rather odd + wierdly dry skin Never happened before. I have just woken up I sat down on the sofa with a cuppa at about half six and I have just been woken up by Justin getting home Arrrh well....so many things I had planned to do this even won`t get done.....*shrugs shoulders* I am currently sitting in the office with the chickies....Domino and Yahtzee and peering out from under the electric hen looking at me as if to say "ssssh with your clickety click typying woman!
