Ain't Nobody Here
Thanks, Allison . He's not in yet though, he needs a C for his English Higher. He said the exam was good though so fingers crossed . OH wasn't doing the marathon - he was doing something far worse . The Scottish Islands Peaks Race. Sailing from Oban to Mull to Jura to Arran and running 60 miles inbetween . The weather was so good that there was no wind so they had to retire at Jura (along with loads of other teams). He left home on Thursday morning and won't be back till tomorrow afternoon. Rather him than me .

Lizzie50
not sure if they still do this but Sainsburys used to do a student 'card' - I bought my daughter a certain amoung of credit each month and this meant she could buy the beans for the toast..........or alcohol! We did a shopping trip to Ikea to get all the basics Hope everything goes well, I cried for a month after my daughter left home
Ain't Nobody Here
That sounds like a good idea . I know there's a small supermarket on campus but it's slightly more expensive so he'll probably want to go further afield occasionally.
