Please can you help me, either by writing down anything you know about it or finding some websites, as I'm completely stuck. I have to do a poster, so I don't need too much info really. That looks to be a very interesting site Ooh, just clicked on the link - they have a tank like that in the Lincolnshire Life Museum in Lincoln - in fact I think it was invented somewhere in Lincolnshire.....(the museum is one of my OH's all time favourite places to visit ). It was the death knell to cavalry as previously known and also taught the generals that attrition warfare does not work (until of course WW2 and subsequent wars!!).
