sezra
I think I have worked this out! Hopefully below are pictures of our new hens and our nearly WIR if you duck a bit!!!! The first Hen is Betty, she is the boss! The Goldline (Jenny) is very tame and friendly but is desperate to get out of the run for some free ranging! The Blubelle (Tallulah) seems to be much younger than the others.I love the colours in the Black Star (Hatty) she has lovely greeny colours in her feathers! jellykelly
They're all gorgeous girls and I like the description of your 'almost' walk in run. It made me chuckle.
sezra
They're all gorgeous girls and I like the description of your 'almost' walk in run. It made me chuckle. Sadly we have a tree in the corner and I couldn't trim it any higher so that dictated the height of the run! I am hoping the tree will offer the chooks a nice bit of shade in th summer but it was a complete nightmare trying put put the wire roof around the trunk and branches and make it secure against foxes! I hope it will be ok?? I would have loved it to be a bit higher, I cant tell you how many times I banged my head when we were making it! The girls seem to like their new home anyway and OH and I and quietly pleased with our first attempt at chicken housing!
