Okay, so today I've got to go and have a medical assessment. As I have been suffering from having bad anxiety/panic attacks for a good 3-4 years now I have been having help with getting money etc as I find it hard to go to a full-time job. So this scheme I have signed up to helps you go back into work gradually & hopefully find you a job that you want to do, I think at the start you could possibly do abit of volunteering, which isnt a problem as I really want to get back out there and get a job & earn! But before I can do all this I have to go & have a medical assessment, which i've never had done before and i'm getting quite nervous to say the least! When I was 17/18 I went to a hypnotherapist for about 6 or 7 sessions & I have to say i'm a huge amount better now, im 19 now and just want to get my life back to how it was! So i'm hoping everything goes well today & i just want to get it over with now, i have to wait till half 2!

Hiya, went absolutely fine - panic over! There was actually no need to worry at all! The doctor was really nice and it only took about 20 mins Ah well, hopefully I can find something that I want to do now

Not sure who is funding your scheme, but I come across a lot of ESF (European Social Fund) funded projects through work. A lot of them are aimed at helping people to work out where to start when trying to get in work. They recognise that a lot of people, for whatever reason, can't just apply for a job, they need support to build confidence, maybe help with CVs, interview techniques, qualifications before they could even contemplate filling out an application. A lot also offer work placements or volunteering opportunities and I have met many people that really have changed their lives for the better.
