JB09
Roughly how big is a standard pekin bantam egg? My girls have only been laying about a month but was wondering for comparison reason the average size of their eggs JB
tom123
Clickety Click! It's roughly the same size as the smallest egg on the chart.
JB09
Cheers Tom, I did stubmble accross the chart after I posted and thought it would have been the first or second! Thanks again.
Rosalyn
Hi my Pekin hen has just laid her first egg and it’s tiny, please can you let me know where I can find the size chart? I would be interested in seeing it.
Cat tails
Think they might be comparable to these. The dark one is from a Barnevelder bantam, the lighter from a New Hampshire bantam and the lightest from a Wyandotte.

mullethunter
Unless Cattails has either humongous or tiny hands then yes - pekin eggs are similar in size to the darkest one she is holding.
