AnnieP
The Saturday Helen, as trains are difficult for us on a Sunday. We are taking my Dad and OH's mum too. Its going to be a great day out, and as my dad is a Spurs supporter , and OH's mum a Manure fan , it should be a good day!! Hopefully we will see some good football, and I am sure they can't fail to be impressed by the stadium, if not the home team! I think the tickets are reasonably priced too, considering you get to watch 2 games! I wonder who "Ooops, word censored!"nal will turn out though...... It would be lovely to see you there! Martin B
It might be the youngsters/reserves on the first day because they are playing weaker opposition. I would have loved to have seen Inter, but unfortunately I'm on holiday!
gooner.girl
Well, the prediction princess has just left my house (thrilled at a Liverpool loss - as is OH! ) I presented his trophy, shirt and card and i think he liked them very much! Guest
As Helen just said - I went to her and Mike's to indulge my shared hatred of Liverpool with Mike (Helen humoured us!) - we both wore AC Milan scarves and cheered the Milan goals enthusiastically!! anyway!! At half time I presented Helen with her Omlet Prediction League prize (as promised) but then..... I was totally overwhelmed and touched when Helen produced the card (that Martin chose so well - and signed by as many of you that could!) and Bolton shirt and Omlet Prediction Trophy that you guys had all bought for me - it was a really lovely surprise, and I just wanted to say.... a HUGE thankyou to you all - Helen, Chelsea, Lorna, Martin, Dan, Annie and Emma, I have really enjoyed your company on this football thread and the prediction league (which was actually Helen's idea) a big thankyou guys - you're the best!! (none of us had a camera to hand - but me and the missus and my daughter Carys are visiting Helen & Mike on Saturday - so we will take some official presentation photos then!) Love, Princess Phil xx Roll on next season!!!!! P.S. Dan - the "one and only wanderer"!! LOL!! P.P.S. Helen has a ducklu and a duck pond and everything (well... except the ducks - but they're coming soon!)

chelsea
Glad you like your trophy Phil. Well deserved. Me and hubby cheered and cheered last night at Liverpool's loss. Went to bed HAPPY PEOPLE The fact that the likes of Carragher etc was blabbing off saying they're bringing home a CL medal makes it even better.......isnt he intelligent enough to realise you dont start boasting UNTIL you've actually won it??!!! Thought Benitez's susbstitutions were class (not!) .......Kewell and some foreign geezer I've never even heard of

gooner.girl
Wow! Fame at last Chelsea! The one and only time i was ever on TV was on Sky Sports at an "Ooops, word censored!"nal - Tottenham game in 1996. Went with my friend Iain (spurs fan ) and we got videoed for all of 3 seconds before the match outside the stadium! Was the best match ever though! We won 3-1 in the pouring rain - Adams and Bergkamp scored 2 amazing goals in the last few minutes - the atmosphere was electric and it is my favourite ever "Ooops, word censored!"nal memory (actually - one of my all time fave memories! ) Being on sky was just the icing on the cake for young 16 year old me! (i wasn't in a pink coat though! )
