Jules.
YS has a birthday party to go to this afternoon- from 3 to 5pm The poor mother of the birthday child had to send slips around school on Friday just to check which children are still going to the party. We're going

bluekarin
My ED had her 13th birthday party today from 12-7 (they weren't all in the house for the whole time, otherwise I'd have no hair left, or it would be all grey) Hubby and I watched the footie in relative peace and quiet, and she still had her fun with the kids. I think because the party started at 12 it didn't really affect parents. All that said, what a rubbish game And we woz robbed But then, in the end, we deserved to lose as Germany were far better players.
crazygal
My DD had her party from 12 till 2 today....yes I was so sad that I had checked all the eventualites of who played who so that I knew we would not clash with an England match!! But then arggh Grand Prix was also on.... cue much dvd recording.... too much on one weekend!!
Lewis
I was at a theatre in the middle of Brum, doing a Get-In for a show ... they had a break at 3 so some people went and watched it. I stayed on the stage and got some backcloths hung, but could hear what was going on from the reaction of the pubs down the road Some of the cast were late for their 5 o'clock call
