Plum
Mine enjoy them but they need to peck them so I sew them together and hang them up on strings.
penelope
My Babies love pea pods.............and the odd maggoty pea goes down really well too! I have a wire mesh feeder which I pack with goodies like that from the allotment & it takes them a while to get to them.
chicken bark
Mine enjoy them but they need to peck them so I sew them together and hang them up on strings. I love that idea. I have in mind a pea pod washing line.
CthulhusEvilTwin
I've put some pea pods into a feeder for our chickens to create a sort of 'vegetable kerplunk' game for them. So far, they have pulled all the pods out, pecked them a bit, and since lost interest. Still, at least it kept them entertained for a while.
