grageomat
Just picked up my long awaited Blue Laced Wyandotte, Lavender Araucanna and a Red Silkie. The Wyandotte (Guinevere) is absolutely gorgeous, the breeder was very sad to see her go she would have like to have kept her for breeding but i had her ordered from birth so she reluctantly handed her over telling me i should show her!! im soooo happy with her! The Araucana (Arwen) is so small at the moment she looks a bit like a pigeon! But so elegant! And the Silkie (Ginger) is soooo cute soooo fluffy I will get photos up as soon as possible, sooooo excited Edited July 29, 2010 by Guest

grageomat
Well heres the pics The little darlings the pictures dont do them justice!! We have changed the red Silkie's name form Ginger to Lynne (my sister in law has ginger hair - she now super happy she has a name named after her lol) And poor Arwen currently still looks pigeon like or a scurry! Guinevere Lynne and Arwen Hope you like them i love them to bits

grageomat
Thank you all for the lovely comments. I was studying my chickens this morning (as you do) and i think that my camera has maybe enhanced the clour of them a bit! They are both very brightly red in colour but the tell tale on the pic was the blue on guinevere, its very blue in the pic and its not that blue in real life, so i think maybe the colouring has been brightened up a bit. Yeah, the contrast/saturation must be up a bit, they're looking very vivid!!! ....nonetheless, they're absolutely gorgeous!!!! Mercedes55
I had no idea you could even get hens that colour, she looks more the colour of a parrot than a hen and they are all just beautiful
Bexibex
Wow, they are stunningly beautiful. I especially like Lynne but that is because I am a red head so I am biased!
