miffy
I am considering buying these, to try to help shape my legs & deriere (sp??). I seem to remember a thread about them some time ago but cant find it . The cost really puts me off... How have you found them, do they work? and given the cost do they wear well? Have your feet spread? ...sorry is that toooo personal?? I would be very interested to hear how you have found them. Thanks

quickcluck
love, love, love mine, the most comfy shoes ever!
Willow
I love them, they are so comfortable I practically live in them all summer. They are very supportive of your feet. I had to wear proper high heel work shoes for a day the other week and got blisters on the tops of my feet
Ms Marple
Absolutely live in them and love them . Now have four pairs!! Really comfortable. My most expensive ones are a pair of limited edition(or so they say!) Ana Sui Fiorella that everyone seems to admire. My feet haven't spread I still wear heels to go out and walk as badly as ever in them
sezra
I have bought some sparkly sequin ones. They are really comfy and supporting. I cant comment on whether long term they improve the shape and tone of your legs but I can feel my calves working harder than normal if I am walking fast! Hope that helps. docsquid
I found that they were not very comfortable. The footbed is very well shaped and quite supportive. However I really dislike having the toe post between my toes, and I felt I couldn't walk with them very far without getting a blister between the toes. This was not helped by having a relatively heavy sole. They don't feel anything like MBT's in terms of being unstable and therefore making your core and balance muscles work harder while wearing them - they just felt like flat shoes to me. I really don't see much advantage over ordinary flip flops apart from the styling which is a bit nicer, and the shaped footbed, which could do with being lighter. Jennifer Jane
I found that they were not very comfortable. The footbed is very well shaped and quite supportive. However I really dislike having the toe post between my toes, and I felt I couldn't walk with them very far without getting a blister between the toes. This was not helped by having a relatively heavy sole. I agree. I know a lot of people swear by them, but I have strange duck shaped feet and can't walk far in them because they rub between my toes. This defeats the object, so an expensive mistake for me . (I can and do wear shoes with toeposts and my most comfortable pair are cheap Birkenstock lookalikes which I bought in Hay on Wye.) I would advise you to walk around the shop in them as much as you can before buying.
Seagazer
I'm another that has problems with the toe post, I only wear them for short bursts as its too painful otherwise. Shame as a good idea.
lillybettybabs
I have some and i also have some of the Rebok trainers that do the same thing.
paddy1709
I had an initial problem with the toe post and suffered a couple of blisters. However I have persevered and now they are the comfiest ever!
Cinnamon
I had a problem with them too. My feet have a high arch,& the top of the Fit Flop was too tight for the top of my foot. I stick to Crocs Flops now

The Dogmother
They make Fitflops in all sorts of styles now, including those without toe posts. I find mine very comfy and much lower impact than my MBTs
miffy
I was looking at the different styles on line last night, I expect it will be the cheapest

miffy
Yup I am now the proud owner of a pair of brown Fitflops. My sister & I bought a pair each in T Reds in Truro. We then proceded to walk around knock kneed untill we got used to them
donald
Hi I tried on sequin pair but thought the post would make the toes sore so the shop assistant told me to try a different style(leather type) as apparently all the styles are slightly different fit. The other type were very comfy. But as yet I am trying to justify the £50 price tag. Donald
quickcluck
I love my orginal ones, walkstar, and am trying to get hold off walkstar III does anyone know if the fit is different?
miffy
no idea what style mine are ....plain brown suede, cost £39.99 , wouldn't have paid much more though TBH the post is suede too and very comfortable
Jennifer Jane
I got a pair of gel toe posts, price £3.50, from M&S yesterday, so I am going to try my Fit Flops again with them. I have the brown sequinned pair, it sounds like they have more of a toe post issue than some of the other styles.
The Dogmother
I have a pair of the original black Walkstars and a pair of black suede ones; they both fit beautifully and haven't rubbed me yet.
