craftyhunnypie
Anyone got any good recipes for using up leeks? I've thought about leek & potato soup, but would fancy some sort of bake I think instead. Emma.x
Egluntyne
This is the best leek recipe in the universe. **Cheese and Leek Pudding**
majorbloodnock
I actually tend to use leeks as a quick dish. Chop up a leek or two and fry up in some olive oil. Add some tinned tuna at a convenient point, then make up a cheese sauce with plenty of mature cheddar. Add the sauce to the tuna and leeks, then serve on some short pasta such as fusilli, conchigli, penne or maccheroni. A good grinding or two of black pepper is mandatory. kinsk
I fry some cubed pancetta with about 3-4 chopped up leeks, mix with some cooked penne pasta and cheese sauce, tip into a dish top with slices of mozarella, sprinkle with parmesan and bake in the oven. chickencam
I like them gently fried with some ham or bacon, and loads of black pepper, then stir some cream through it and mix it with pasta, a very quick and tasty sauce.
