Recommended Posts

Finally have managed to pick up a walk in aviary second hand 10 x8 with roof. So as my rubber chippings are causing me a problem what should i put down? I am going to clear of rubber chippings then slap underneath? or should i tightly deck underneath? I have seen so many wonderfull covered runs on omlet dont know what i should do!

Aubiose and Easibed on concrete it's great. :D Need to protect from rain though. I have a corrugated clear roof and pvc panels on one side - one can be removed. On other sides tarpaulins I can put up if rain threatened and wind from that direction. :D

looks like easibed it is then! Although i am guessing i will have to purchase from scats or countrywide or somewhere like that! porb cant nip down to pets at home lol

It does have a roof, one side will be against my shed and the other will be against a fence and bushes so i think it should be ok, maybe i could purchase a nice cath kidston awning for the other side ! lol

My hubby not impressed  though as one panel is 8ft by 6ft so he is gonna have to strap to the roof rack and drive the long way home, which is about an hour from here, oh well he will get over it!

i am guessing it needs to be patio slabbed first as otherwise the same problem with mud ect, also i guess it easy to get rid of bedding from slabs as you can sweep all up rather than racking it... my run is no where near level, especially as we have had a mole move in, however i am going to level is as much as i can and just put sand underthem (well when i say me what i actually mean is the husband!
