Smart Feeder - Light sensor values

DD has had three calls from a number on her mobile phone. She didn't recognise the number which is a landline one. We did a search and this number appears to be for a loan comapny which has obviously got hold of her number from somewhere.

 

She hasn't answered it yet and I have told her not to but does anyone know if there is any way that you can block a number like this. I had a look on different sites but they all seem to be forums discussing how annoying this particular number is!

 

Any help appreciated!

I once had a problem like this on my mobile,& spoke to Vodafone about it,who blocked the number for me.

I was pestered for a few days by an unrecognised number on my mobile . It stopped after a while so I didn't do anything but it's good to know that your provider can block numbers .

On a similar vein, we are plagued at home by foreign sales calls on the landline; now that their pooter has sussed out when I am at home and likely to pick up the phone, they call at least 4 times per day.

 

I am going to go through a phase of leaving it to go to voicemail so that I can screen my calls and hopefully drop off their call list. It's such a pain that they aren't covered by the TPS We get them a lot at work too.

My 14 yr old son had a strange bleep and opened a message from a porn site as didnt recognize number. My OH understandinbly went into orbit as they charged him as he had opened it as it didnt say "this is a porn sight" so after a long battle got some of the money back. we threatend to tkae it to the Daily Wale and other tabloids and also BBC as OH works for them. So warn your teens re this scam - and before you all think "bet he was looking at sight yeah yeah 14 yr old boy hormones etc" he wasnt - he hardly ever uses blooming thing and its never switched on. Please warn your kids as it could cost you money
