im such a bad chicken mummy

one of my girls is broody with no signs of giving in so today i decided enough was enough once i had collected the eggs from the other girls i shut the cube up (i normally leave it open all the time )

anyway ive just been out to the garden to fetch coal for the fire ,whilst at the bunker i looked up and spoted something out of the corner of my eye in the walk in run so off i trot to to investigate and what do i find ???

 

all 4 girls fast asleep on the steps of the cube id only forgotted to let them back in i feel so bad bless them but on the upside they were so sleepy i got a chance to look them over and give them a quick health check

Dont worry, thats something we've all probably done, i know i have. An extra handful of corn tomorro and they'll be putty in your hands again.

I forgot to let two of the new ones out of the eglu on Tuesday, I let the others out in the WIR We then left for Southampton, DS went out to check for eggs a bit later and rang and asked what have Daisy and Marchmallow done to kept in?
