Wantchooks
Over last three days one of mine has got more and more poorly. Have isolated her but don't know what's wrong. Extremely lethargic Flops down and seems to rest her head Very runny "korma" coloured poo all over her bum. Drinking a little and not eating Comb and wattles still red. Whilst washing her vent two days ago saw a blood blister sort of bulge in one side of the vent just inside. Now just laying down with her head down Her crop is soft and feels empty - unlike my other three who have full ones at the mo quite firm. Please can someone help? Wantchooks
Thanks - my usual vet doesn't do chickens - can anyone recommend one in the Rochester area? And does anyone know what it might be?

Donna C
Sorry, just read times and realised times Can your vet recommend another vet?
sandyhas3chucks
have you had a look in the recommended vet section ? or you could try the rvs website. "find a vet" choose advanced and put in poultry and birds. not the bit that says specialist, as that will give you mega experts some-place. I do hope you are pleasantly surprised and you find there is a choice. Good luck, hope you are lucky it's here viewtopic.php?f=41&t=4447
