Millie-Annie
if you have blisters I have two large open blisters on the backs of my heels from my walking boots yesterday. Didn't give it a thought, went in this morning, with my flip flops on as ever. They like bright nail varnish, so I have learnt from that, but as I am standing cleaning their beds, Lyla pecked my blister. I nearly leapt 6ft in the air, before I put that foot down, she started on the other one. Then they all came over for a peck. I was out that run quicker that a rat up a drainpipe and I am not going back
stoice
Ouch When bending down to see to the girls, my Beryl pecked a mole I have on my arm and it bled. With just one peck! No wonder poor Mabel's botty got in such a state if all it takes is one precise peck. Mind you, Beryl also did a flying leap and pinched a mole i have right by my eye too. Came up with a nasty bruise. I'm ultra cautious around her now, and make sure I wear my glasses, just in case. Beryl the Ninja Chicken! Bexibex
Mine do that! I have just got my nose pierced and I am so worried they are going to go for that - it is sore enough as it is - it doesn't need any further attention from the chooks! They also go for my nail varnish and like to jump up and peck at my clothes!

I've ALWAYS got blisters on my heels and toes hence I often walk around with no shoes on, hadn't given any thought to a savage attack from chickens. Hope your blisters are better soon! (PS, I love this - Beryl the Ninja Chicken! ) !!!!

the bradley bunch
hubby came in nearly crying yesterday because lulu (no surprise - check the signature) jumped up and pecked his waffle right out of his hand as he was about to take a bite! apparently she used the length of the garden as a run way to achieve lift off, taking a big flying jump for 'take off' at the point where the garden slopes down! he said he saw her coming but it all happened so fast his waffle was gone before he even had time to try n save it!
