Lesley
Some of us are mad enough to put photos in the Gallery - would anyone else like to join us? It would be really nice to put a few faces to names Lesley
Mrs Frugal
Come on, you lot! Let's see what you look like - Lesley, Nicola and I were brave enough to post our mugshots in the gallery.......join us - if you dare............
Lesley
Hi Sarah aka Biscuits Great to see your photo - you don't look anything like I thought! For some reason I thought you would have fair hair! Anyone else going to join in? Lesley
Mrs Frugal
Hey, has Sarah joined us? I haven't had a look yet.............. ............Well done Sarah! Glad you are brave too ! You've got lovely children, Sarah - funny, but I imagined you as blonde too! Must be because all the Sarah's I know are blonde. Talk about stereotyping!! Sorry about that! It's nice to be able to put a face to a name, don't you think?
SarahJo
No def Brunette .. Ben is the older of the two, and the photo was taken at Joes Birthday party in August '04. Not the most recent of pics, but then I am usually the one doing the photography . Sarah with Ginger and Pepper
SarahJo
Oh just thought of something ... the Bamboo pot in the photo was on its side this morning .. due to the crazy winds we have been having. . And also Kate, remember the paddle stone thing I told you about to stop the 's digging out the compost . Well if you get the photo double clicked and enlarged ... you will see a fine example . Sarah. Mrs Frugal
Paddle stones - I see what you mean and I will definitely be doing it soon as the girls have up-ended most of my herbs and kicked out the poor frost bitten geraniums (never have enough foresight to pop them in the greenhouse!). My photo is quite old too - taken about the same time as yours. In desperation to find something suitable, we looked through the disks and the only other one was taken in 2000! I DON'T like having my photo taken at all so they are rare in our house! I don't take a good photo ! Glad you were brave enough to join us though
Lesley
You two are lucky - I agreed to have a photo taken on my '5th' Birthday - can't you tell by the sulky look on my face! Never mind, I shall probably be glad when I reach my '6th' Birthday and look back Lesley
Nicola H
Like the photograph Sarah glad you joined us I see you did not opt. for a close up like Lesley and Kate I was not that brave. Take a look in my new album I have just added another very interesting pic.
Mrs Frugal
Take a look in my new album I have just added another very interesting pic. LOVE IT, NICOLA I wish my hubby would buy me something nice like that .
Lesley
I like that, does it do anything? or just ornamental? Not posting a close up was not part of the bargain you know - I think you and Sarah need to look through your photos again! Lesley
Nicola H
I think it was bought as a bit of a joke because he said that Babs and Ginger had bought me a present. But the kids love it you can move the chickens around and put them on different perches, and they are all modelled on the chicken run characters, Babs sports a head scarve. SarahJo
Mucked that up abit . Added 2 photos .. one of Ben getting his bike for birthday last year, and then us blowing out candles. Ben and I share the same birthday ... and NO I was not 4 last year, and will only be 34 in 2 weeks time, Ben will be 5. . Sarah .. you will get no closer in photography terms. Lesley
I've added another two as well, one of them while I was on wrong side of the camera again. Trying to hide behind a three year old does not work! Lesley
Mrs Frugal
I've just taken over one of those empty albums - silly thing to do as you can't name it or delete it!! I've added a couple of photos too. I just had to show off my terrific handbag!
SarahJo
I think thats what I did too ... hence, I cannot name the album so it will remain untitled, and with one totally irrelevant photo. Sarah.
Mrs Frugal
Never mind Sarah, I don't mind staying untitled! It's almost as good as being anonymous! I don't think the photo is irrelevant anyway - it's very sweet
Lesley
Send me a PM with your title and I'll see if I can name them - I've been into both of yours to the bit where you can add the name. Didn't dare add anything rude in case I couldn't change it! Lesley
Mrs Frugal
Thanks, Lesley. You're a star
Imogen
I will try an add a photo of myself with Gerty and Flo if I can in the near future, but first I have to teach my mother/father to use my digital camera They are absolutely useless with it! Hardly any of us know anything really about each other, let alone hair colour! I don't know if you ever get those questionnaires (probably just a teenage thing) where you answer all these questions about yourself and then send them off to your friends so they learn things about you? Like your dislikes/likes/hobbies/music tastes/fears/dreams etc Obviously it wouldn't be so intensive, but maybe we should have a post on here where people could sort of fill it out or something and then we'd all learn things about each other..... ....Or maybe that's just another crazy Imogen idea that will go down like a lead balloon Never mind.... Sammi J
Hi. I think thats a get idea. Should we make a new post in the nesting box with ideas about what the questions should be, then we can start a new topic listing the agreed questions maybe numbered and everyone can answer them in their posts. I also think we should ask James and the Omlet team for a chat room where we can meet up, on another forum I go on they have an agreed night and time where if you can make it you meet in the chat room, its a really good evening and you find you're in there chatting for quite a while sometimes. It could be quite nice on this site as we are all such a friendly bunch. What you think Take it easy. Sammi P.s I think that was number
Lesley
Yes - Chicken Eggspert now Sammi! Do you realise that I shall have to take a shovel and black bin bag to my house soon instead of duster, polish and vacuum cleaner? I think a chat room sounds great but even more time consuming Lesley
