Bramble
Sorry, I'm just ranting. I'm sitting in the office, staring into space, can't focus on anything and need someone to give me a serious kick up my behind. It's Friday, the weekend is coming but all i can think is, oh no, I'll be back here again before I know it. Feel like crying. Don't know what to do, so if anyone has a big pair of boots available, please could you administer the appropriate kick? Thank you and sorry to whine
chickenNutter
Not sure I have the right boots on, as I am feeling the same Is it grey and rainy with you? It is here, so that could be something to do with it. Otherwise it could be to do with disatisfaction with your work, which is a whole new can of worms. Why not try setting yourself 3 or 4 tasks to do before you finish work and focus on those with the promise of a treat over the weekend if you finish them? Otherwise I try listening to Chris Evans when I am feeling like that - he is such as irrepressibly cheery person it is hard to stay down for long. (Other radio personalities are available if CE is not your cup of tea!).
The Dogmother
It's probably the dark and dreary weather. I haven't had time to think about being fed up yet.

chickencam
The dull weather, a return to the routine after the summer. Take it one step at a time rather than look at the big picture and before you know it Friday evening will be here. I'll give you a nidge with my slipper. I had a day like that yesterday, i shook myself at around 2pm and had got loads done by the evening, so all is not lost. I sent YD to school feeling like that this morning. It is the end of her first week in senior school, she is dog tired, and they have an outdoor activities day at a water park. She wasn't looking forward to it, she has recently done very similar things with her old friends, and it is her time of the month poor girl, mother nature is cruel sometimes. It is a bonding day for her new school and she isn't unwell so we felt that it was important that she took part and showed willing. It would have been so easy to have kept her at home, but life throws stuff at you that you don't really want to do and she has to learn I am so hoping that she comes back saying she has had a great time I hope that your day looks up, have youself a treat for lunch. SJChick
I am feeling fed up today too, I know I am lucky to have a job just now but really, life's too short for sitting here in this office that doesn't even have a window To top it off the boss has given my colleague an extra half day but no mention yet on when I'll be getting mine Better just do this - - I think because I definately need the money for more . patsylabrador
I was feeling very sorry for myself earlier. For reasons beyond my control I had to spend time in a shopping mall today. I hate, hate, hate them. I feel like I'm in some subterranean zombie world - all those people and heating up so high is a horrible combination. So glad to be back home.
