I'm hoping to get some time with her this weekend but have to do job application first before I'm allowed to play :(

 

Rachelk - you must get yours out the loft :) if you want help cleaning her up etc there is a great section on the sewing forum for vintage machines.

Gosh - how exciting! I've posted elsewhere about how I had my mum's (actually my grandmother's) Frister & Rossman hand machine serviced last year, it works beautifully although sadly hasn't had much use yet.

 

I've got an old Singer that I bought as a student, before I inherited mum's machine, and been wondering what to do with it - it didn't occur to me anyone would want it.

 

For anyone in Essex, I can recommend a marvellous Machine Man. That looks fabulous BMS - and I think Pearl is a brilliant name!
