Well, that was a bit of a shock

Recommended Posts

I've just found out my cousin, who is only a couple of years younger than me, has breast cancer. Well, I was originally told by my mum almost two weeks ago it was another cousin (this cousins younger sister) but nope, its the older one. It was a shock when I thought it was my younger cousin, but somehow it's even harder to know its the older sister. I am quite close to her, and although we've not really been in touch a lot over the years, we do have long funny chats via email or FB. It's just not fair :( On the upside, she is a very positive person, and its not going to beat her, and in her words she says 'bleep' cancer!

What horrid news. A friend of mine has just finished treatment for breast cancer and has been given the all clear. They are much better at treating it these days and if your cousin can maintain her positive attitude that will help too. More positive vibes coming from here.
