greyhoundgirl
I really need some fasion advice please. I am having a 'special' birthday this year (40) and on my birthday in December I am lucky enough to be going to Brighton to see the fantastic Scissor Sisters. I am soooo excited but feel the need to wear something fabulous. I have my eye on the Irregular Choice purple Miaow boots but have know idea what to wear them with or if it's a good idea in the first place. I have the body glitter and glitter hair spray at the ready; but the rest??? Last time I went to see the band I did take a pink feather boa but was too self-conscience to take it out of my bag and it wouldn't have looked good with the jeans and black tee shirt anyhow. This year I'm planning on a fair amount of the fizzy stuff before hand anyway so will pretty much loose any inhibitions (still not too wild though)! I'm trying to plan ahead a bit and would really love to hear your ideas for fab outfits. Thanks

Clur
The Scissor Sisters are FAB live - saw them at Wembley Jake Shears has been a bit critical of the feather boas before, but love the idea of the black leggings and pink tutu! Must admit, my friend and I didn't dress up and there were plenty of people who did and a fair number who were a bit tame like us!
craftyhunnypie
Silver sequin jacket, zebra print leggings, long slanted cut t shirt top & pink afro wig - I really would do this! lots of glitter on face - massive dangly earrings. Think really camp 70's disco style & you'll be great! Go on be wild & enjoy! Emma.x

I'm with you there, I love a good smattering of camp and lots and lots of glitter. I love the pink tutu idea; any ideas where to get one of those from? So far we have the idea of black skinny jeans/ thick tights, pink tutu with a sparkly top and the beloved Mieow boots. Any more for any more?
