Charlie7
This topic is about Charlie my dog, Zuzia my cat and my tropical fish. I will start with Charlie, my 3 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is very friendly, but he is scared of white dogs, because one attacked him when he was a little puppy. He has a girlfriend called Bianca. She is a Yorkie. He is lively and loves to do agility. He learns commands very easily, at the moment he knows: Sit, down, shake, other paw, sneeze, spin, stand, roll over, jump (over or on to something), hop (stands on the hind legs and hops like a rabbit), when I sneeze he gets a tissue, stay (I put a treat on his paw and he is not allowed to eat it until I say OK, stop (he stops what he is doing, e.g. if I drop something he is not allowed to eat or when I call him and I say stop he stops), find ... (e.g. a toy - they have names and he knows which one is which, one is called Binky, the other one Billy, the third Jumbo and so on. If I e.g. put these three toys together in a pile and say find Binky he will pick up Binky. This also works if I want to find a person, e.g. find Daddy, find Grandma, find Sophie, find Bianca). He eats raw meat on bones. His favourite food is lamb and is favourite colour is blue. Yes, I know that people say that dogs are colour-blind, but he likes blue toys MUCH more than other coloured toys. A few pictures: Promise to post pictures of the other animals soon. Ziggy
What lovely fluffy ears... Looking forward to see pictures of the other animals . In our family we have an irish setter also named Charlie, 5 cats, 3 chickens, 3 rabbits, 2 guinea pigs, 2 canaries, 1 pygmy hedgehog and some tropical fish (I think that's it anyway... losing count)... Planning to make a collage one of these days with pics of all of them on... would be easier to post and share than individual portraits of them all . craftyhunnypie
Oh Charlie is gorgeous. What a talented dog. He reminds me of my first ever dog as a child called Toby. Just the same face. They are beautiful dogs Caveliers, even though we had to hold their ears back with a hair scrunchie when eating. Emma.x

Charlie7
Thanks. Zuzia is a 16 year old Siamese cat. She is VERY vocal, also 4 o'clock in the morning. She had a kidney problem and 3 years ago the vet said that we should put her to sleep, but we refused. For months we fed her by syringe, or on good days by hand. She also had to take medicine, but now she is fine. She lives a happy, normal live, eats well and gets no medicine. Zuzia is a common Polish name.
