I have been amazed this foggy morning on the amount of people driving,still quite fast in some cases,with no lights on.

I flashed one woman,as I truly didn't see her until she was on top of me,& she made a rude hand gesture back

Another was driving along with no lights,& yabbering away on her phone,held in her hand.

Same here,& the fog was freezing onto my windscreen until the heaters got really warm too.

We had freezing fog all day here yesterday. I was glad the only trip I had to make in the car was just a short one to the vets. I saw enough idiots on the roads in that short space of time

You are right. Foggy and icy weather seems to bring out the worse in drivers.

 

I saw drivers with no lights on, drivers going too fast. I would ban fog lights though - most drivers don't know how to use them.

 

My car has automatic headlights that don't come on when it is foggy. I did remember to put them on.

I guestured to a few drivers to remind them to turn on their lights, and they did

Just back from a trip to Reading. On a 15 minute journey I flashed 18 cars with no lights on

And bear in mind that I am in the countryside,so when its foggy,its darn foggy

The past 3 mornings, I have left for work around 4am and seen 4 major accidents on the same stretch of dual carriageway. People just don't know when to use fog lights! One tip, if it is foggy, put them on

Fog lights are a particular bug bear of mine. I find it annoying driving behind someone for miles on end who has their fog lights on. If you can see a car behind you you don't need your fog lights on.

When it is not foggy the next day you can switch them off too.

I so agree about the fog lights!

 

and has anyone else noticed how many people drive in the dark with full beam on? I am constantly virtually blinded by idiots who dont dip their lights - how come I can manage to dip mine because I can see that they are round the corner, when they cant see me?? probably because their lights are on full beam, they cant see anything else . even my kids complain about it...

 

and another thing (I'm on a roll here!) - round here we seem to have hundreds of drivers who only have one headlight working properly... really dangerous.
