Guest
just to clarify what i said earlier, if my chicken was lingering and/or appearing to suffer i would take them to the vets to be PTS. Sometimes you just know that they only have hours left though, it comes with experience, and in that situation i tend to keep them with their friends but make them warm and comfy. MissSilkie
This morning I went out to find Clucky dead. I was already especting this as last night she wasn't too good. All I can say is rest in peace. I am also going to find out about wormers. Going to check in local farming shop.

MissSilkie
Yeah, i know but at least I looked after her till death! She was one of my little babies! But for only being 13 I think i handled it pretty well.
MissSilkie
I was considering someone to dispatch her but I saw that she preferred being with the rest of the girls and I wasn't going to dispatch her and there was no one else but she has had a rough time of it. What symptoms does your chicken have ? How old is she ?
