WarrensWorld
Last month I attended my 6 monthly diabetes clinic, that was after I had a series of blood tests. Well it appears that my blood and urine calcium levels are elevated 22 points above normal. Well I can cope with that, but now Alice my Doctor wants to see me first thing tomorrow for a kidney function blood test. This morning I received a letter from my diabetic Doctor, Elizabeth, saying I'm to go to our local hospital to have another 5 blood tests done. That's the fasting kind first thing in the morning. All that and now I'm to see Mr, Bennet on monday next to see if I need a replacement knee and another set of anti-inflammatory injections in my hips. They say it never rains....... Roll on Christmas lets have some nuts...
Ain't Nobody Here
So you wouldn't pass your MOT then . Suppose you might as well have the complete overhaul all at once - good luck with it all .

majorbloodnock
Actually, it's my bumpers that're probably in best working order. In fact, I could probably double up quite successfully as a dodgem. And that's before the Christmas blowout. Ho, hum.....

Angie
My body work is getting a bit dented too. Felt quite good when i saw my rheumatologist a few weeks ago.I was told i am taking twice the dose of one of my tabs than i should. So i have reduced the dose, but am now in more pain, and not feeling as chipper as i was. Over the last two weeks i have had to go for night time resting splints for hands and supports for my feet. Then day splints for my hands for when i am in pain.(which is more now thanks to cons for dropping the dose by half) Today got a letter asking me to see the GP to have my blood pressure monitored, as the cons is considering giving me a new drug( which will be 6 mths away)......I am also overdue my winter steroid injection.....i feel as though i am falling apart. Not ready for joint replacements yet but i would love some new hands.
