I can put it off no longer, the girlies are sitting in a damp, pongy run so I must clean it out....even though it's raining....wish me luck! I may be gone some time

I can only sympathise, I did my little classic run yesterday, I don't think the girls are remotely grateful though!

Done!! My friend said she'd have all Ii had for her compost heap, don't think she realises how much is in a WIR - I've filled at least a dozen big garden bags!! Phew!

Today is a rest day from my Wii workout programme, but I reckon that's the equivalent of a workout!

Do you think they'll thank me for it? Oh no, they are now climbing all over the dirty bags of used woodchip rather than playing in the nice, clean stuff!!

I did both of mine week before last and yes the girls love the bags all filled with the wet horrid stuff Next job is to take them to the dump

Ours stinks too and needs changing the girls don't seem to mind, i'm off work for a week now so i've no excuse as long as I get one day without rain. Roll on better weather!........

Don't envy you i did mine on tuesday evening.

The girls had just gone to bed at 4pm and i gave them a few mins to settle then attacked it before it got dark.

It didn't take long but i was raking new bedding by torch light.

It wasn't very even but it sure did smell nice.

Next morning I did a good scattering of stalosan and a rake over before the sun came up and the girls came out into a nice cleanWIR.

I did the small WIR today with Hubby's help. We pressure washed the eglus and put fresh aubiose down.

Not a quick job so sympathies to everybody else for their hard work.

I cleaned mine out today . Sadly, decided that some of the perches and branches had to go . They just take take too much cleaning .

 

I'm aching all over (partly due to lots of classes I've done in the last few days but partly to 3 hours scrubbing and rearranging things in the WIR!)
