Ex-batt Peggy went to the vets

Recommended Posts

As she is a bit miserable and fluffed up, as she has laid a couple of softies this week so was worried about peritonitis. He said her abdomen is fine and she has no respiratory symptoms, I thought her crop was a bit full this am but he wasn't concerned. He has chickens (you can see them in the garden) and he said if he suspects peritonitis with his he gives them a long-lasting penicillen injection which won't do any harm if she perks up tomorrow. So that is what she had :)
