For those people interested in putting a few drips of citronella oil on the roosting bars to stop flies or even on tissue under the Omlet Cover to keep them away from the run. This is where I bought mine... It was a really good service and includes postage

I got mine from boots.

 

It really DOES work though. We only started using it recently and we can really tell the difference. Its a fab idea.

Yup, thanks for the link. I use it mixed with eucalyptus oil and it works a treat.

whats the best way to apply it??

i put a few drops onto kitchen roll and place a sheet in the droppings tray. I also put some kitchen roll under the summer/winter shade to keep the flies at bay in the run too. Works a treat.

 

I have heard some people drop the oil directly onto the roosting bars...but I havent tried that.
