Unsecure chicken perches

Hi i have just boiled all of my vegetables peelings and mashed it all up for my four girls i was just wondering if i add anything to it for them to enjoy their lunch thanks martin.

We do this for our girls every week and they seem to like oats sprinkled on the top or some bread (make sure its well soaked in/mushed!) They also adore picking over mango stones and totally demolish halved, cooled baked potato!

My girls turned there noses up at cooked vegi peelings, they dont even like cooked carrot! They do however adore mashed spuds you could try that! All i can say is spoilt rotten!

I used to put all my peelings in the steamer and cook them for the girls too but when I started to do it again this winter they looked at it in disgust so I don't bother anymore.

But they do love mash and porridge made with water.

Dont worry mine did the same. I spent a while boiling up some carrot and parsnip mashed it up and added a k"Ooops, word censored!" of butter to give it a bit of taste. Nope nothing... not interested. Next day i tried them with some left over mash potato i saved in the pan for them. When i first put it outside they were not interested, but they soon threw it down their necks!!
