Miss Millies Chicken
Let me introduce Brunhilda, Griselda and Matilda. Freeded from captivity on the 16th February. Over the last week they have discoverd the delights of dustbathing in the green house. They are now starting to feather up nicely and are getting stronger by the day. Witnessed by the frenzied mad dash when the meal worm tub is rattled. They adore fat juicy garden worms. Although they are still turning their beaks up at corn on the cob I am amazed at how quickly they are adjusting to being just normal chooks. Miss Millies Chicken
I was a bit apprehensive about having ex bats. Silly really and I would urge everyone if possible to find room for a couple. They are already doing their bit for PR . Having completely won over an energy rep. who had come to give us a quote the day they arrived. When he saw them 4 weeks later he was amazed at the difference. From being to scared to move and blink to being cheeky chooks. The energy rep also got the quote for the job . They havent really stopped laying since I've had them. Though I wish they would and have a rest.
