Anyone else fall over their Omlet netting regularly? I have come a cropper at least 4 times now, either adventurously trying to hop over it, being too lazy to undo the 'gate' arrangement I have set up, or more often catching my foot in a 'baggy' bit - I can't get it taut as I have gravel areas where you can't stick poles into the ground. Anyway I most recently nosedived 3 weeks ago, rushing out to feed the girls before work, wearing silly shoes, and landed heavily on my left wrist. Finally went to get it X-rayed yesterday to find it is fractured and came home with it in a cast!

Some Mother's Day!

chicken nutter - and anyone else - be careful!! I broke my ankle very badly doing exactly what you describe 15 months ago. got tangled in the net, put my foot down, slipped in the mud, heard a nasty crack (which was my bone) and had to crawl from chicken run to the front door. trip to a&e, followed by emergency surgery and metal plates and screws in my leg, 5 days in hospital, 6 weeks in plaster - non weight bearing and on crutches/wheelchair, and 10 weeks not driving....

so I seriously sympathise with the wrist, but at least you are not on crutches!!

It should have a warning but only because we are too lazy, even with a gate I still fling my legs over and end up upside down with a foot caught in the netting. Lucky no breaks after reading all your accidents I am going to be more careful. :anxious:
