My lawn looks lovely now ive kept the chickens off it since winter. blueandwhite Posted May 10, 2011 Author Share Posted May 10, 2011 They have the odd 5 minutes on 'the other side'! I reclaimed it earlier this year and now we have about half the garden each. I just really missed having a bit of grass to sit on in the Summer. There is a neat bald border all the way around that extends to the length of their reach through the fence. I let my girls on the newly sewn poultry grass today for first time, and what do they do Never mind it is their grass and they have fertilised our grass well for us the last 8 weeks.
