Goosey Lucy
We're off to see them again today, will try and get updated pics Think we've settled on names, Jasper and Jade So excited, but reality is biting and we have so many things to sort out: bed (one or two?) , separate bowls? litter tray - how deep for kittens? what litter to use? The one definite is the room that will be theirs to begin with - the utility, lockable doors so no roaming around the house to begin with, next to the kitchen so I can keep an eye on them, washable floor in case of accidents (assuming that this is a very high probability), think we're going to feed them Hill's kitten food, OH can't stand 'wet' food so if I want him to feed them when I'm not around then this is a big factor. What have I overlooked? Help!!!!
fluffy chick
What have I overlooked? Help!!!! you sound pretty prepared to me! I would start with an open litter tray for kittens and build up to the covered ones. Maybe I was lucky but we only had one accident when my birman was a kitten, and that was only because she couldn't find her way back to the litter tray Now she is an old lady she just sticks her head in the tray and wees on the floor
Goosey Lucy
Just back from kitten cuddling, they are too cute for words! I think they were born on April 29 so Jasper and Jade will possibly have middle names of William and Kate Photobucket won't let me log in right now but I'll keep trying as I have a couple of cracking shots of our two kittens. (Also have loads of shots of the other kittens - YS grabbed the camera while I was cuddling) so I'll try and put up some pictures of their Manx cousins
Goosey Lucy
Ok, here are the latest photos: Jade Jasper Trouble Mischief Boss-eyed Jasper with Jade and cousins ( If these are too big, please let me know mods and I'll resize them )

Goosey Lucy
Strangely enough everyone syas they either look moody, scary or just plain evil. I must get YS (only 7) to take a photo when they're not miaowing They each spent about 10 minuntes snuggled up to me which I hope means they will settle with us without too many problems
Seagazer
So sweet (is it me or do they have really big feet?) Do they come from big parents? Actually my cat Dave has got huge feet but he's quite petite for a boy. They are so adorable, I really would love, love, love a kitten now but I really think my poor old Sophie has enough to contend with Dave. Goosey Lucy
Umm, their paws are to be grown into I hope but they're also closest to the camera so maybe that's it? No idea about Dad but Mum is fairly petite. Grandmum is also not too large.

beach chick
very very deliciously cute! when we got Sootie and Stan, 2 years ago now, they spent their first few weeks while confined to one room sleeping in youngest daughter's Baby Annabel doll's bed - which they loved. now, they sleep where they choose - with the dog, with us, with the children, etc etc etc. dont waste money on a cat bed!!!! fluffy chick
Ahhh v cute I agree about the cat bed, mine refuses to use hers, always has despite us trying lots of designs I remember when mine was a baby, we used to have an open butlers kitchen unit, she used to sleep in with the spoons
Omletina Kyckling
They are absolutely gorgeous! Soooo cute.....mine have a covered cat bed which they used for the first few days but they prefer to sleep on top of their cat scratcher, I got a fab one from Pets at Home, and it has a added seat on top of the scratching bit, which they seem to love. Cant' wait to see more photos of your kitties!
Tiggy
no no no, cute baby kitties, must not do it Tiggy cat and her sister Smudge who died 4 years ago were from the same litter they kept eachother company and us awake in the first few months. Tiggy looked after Smudge who was a bit dosey but very lovable. Having 2 together is a great idea
