Benaberry
Well, I did say I always wanted a Pekin. Wasn't planning on the Leghorn as well though As yet unnamed, but here they are - my gorgeous little Pekin girlie And the Leghorn who has a slight resemblence to a velociraptor (when she's squaring up to Florence anyway!) I also finally managed to get a picture of Meg and Mog: Meg (and Bluebell being nosey): Mog (still a bit shy): That's it now - no more room in the run - but I've got everything I wanted. Just need names

Benaberry
Great photo's! What a lovely collection of chooks you've got It's definitely a random mix now, pekins up to orpingtons, but they all seem to be rubbing along nicely now, although the two new girls seem to prefer roosting in the rafters of the original run (we've got bars going across to hang the food & water from) rather than up in the house, although they're quite content and snuggle down with the others if we take them down and pop them in at bedtime. Still struggling for names though - Leghorn will end up permanantly as 'the raptor' at this rate
Chortle Chook
What a beautiful Pekin! But your Leghorn is a lovely colour too. I've always wanted that colouring. Is it called barred? I also like your little black Silkie. She looks like my Dusty who is also camera shy
Plum
Your pekin looks like a Lilian and the Raptor could be called Boggins
Benaberry
I'm thinking the Raptor looks like a Morag - seems to suit her for some reason Pekin is going to have a friend coming home over the next couple of days (felt guilty that she was the only diddy one in there ), a blue-y smokey 'mystery' bantam (I think she might be an Orp bantam, she certainly looks like a mini-Matilda - breeder wasn't there to answer when I popped in, son had no idea - deposit is on "fluffy grey small chicken" ), although might swap over to a gorgeous little buff Pekin who was there as well. Either way, torn between Hermione and either Luna (if the mystery girl) or Ginny (if the ginger one), or very tempted by Millie(mouse) and Tillie(mouse) (Bagpuss organ mice) - lots of the others are named after well loved children's characters, so sticking with the unintentional theme - Matilda (Roald Dahl), Florence (Magic Roundabout, originally had an Ermintrude as well until 'she' crowed ), Meg & Mog (loved those books!). She does look a bit like a Lilian though, I can see where you're coming from Plum Also quite like Merry & Pippin for the two littlies - they do look a bit like hobbits with their tiny size and big fluffy feet (assuming I go for the buff Pekin when I go to pick up the friend) What a beautiful Pekin! But your Leghorn is a lovely colour too. I've always wanted that colouring. Is it called barred? I think it is, yes. Breeder had her described as something odd (can't remember what now), but she does just look barred to me That will definitely be it, no more room to extend the run again!
