Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Have just returned from my lovely late birthday treat, Alpaca Walking...now I know some of you have alpacas of your own and so this is old hat...but for those who don't what a fantastic way to spend a couple of hours ...such a good stress buster, they are just fabulous animals, and I had a wonderful time...I can see that it may be addictive, until such time as I can have my own..( ) I thoroughly recommend it

Sounds lovely. I'm going to add that to my 'to do' list. I did think I'd want alpacas at some point but I think walking for an afternoon would probably be a better idea.

DD had scout camp up there in half term, I was so jealous that she was camping with those gorgoeous creatures...and no I'm not talking about the Scouts nor the leaders!

Bet you had a fabulous time. We went llama trekking the weekend before last - similar thing, 2 hours ramble in beautiful countryside accompanied by furry friend - and had a great time.

 

We went with Catanger Llamas in Northamptonshire.

Yes Sha, we did indeed go to Asdean, and consequently (and probably because oh and ds in tow) we stopped at the Barley Mow at Walderton for a swift half on the way

There is a super alpaca farm very close to where I live, and I'm pretty sure you can go alpaca trekking there. Mayfield Alpacas
