Chocobo
We got the chooks today, they are really pretty, but still small at 10 weeks old.. the breeder we got them off had been keeping chickens for 64 years so was very knowledgeable, he also had turkeys and ducks, and loads of different breeds, and lots of chickens.. I loved the day olds but my dad wasn't as impressed.. Their names are Saffron (gold pencilled hamburg) Bryony (Lavender Araucana) Rosemary (Rhode Island Red Bantam) And they are lovely.. Sadly they are in temporary housing as the eglu which was supposed to arrive on friday still isn't here. but the temporary housing, when the others are in the eglu will mean I can maybe get some more chooks... The breeder also gave me food to tide me over whilst waiting for the food with the eglu, Which he makes himself... PICS HOPEFULLY TOMORROW!!! (if the chooks will pose!)
