Sooo much pooping

i have a WIR which is half slabbed and half gravel and wood chip i use stalosan on the gravel and wood chip part but i was wondering if there is a safe disinfectant i could use on the slabbed part at the moment i use a mild bucket of hot soapy water and scrub the slabs with a wire brush is there something safe i could use that wont harm the girls when i put them back in the run

mine's fully flagged with cosy chick/aubiose over the top. I think it's ok just to sprinkle stalosan onto the flags when you've cleaned out - just going of previous threads x

Stalosan is safe to use on the slabs too.

you say stalosan is safe to use on the slabs as well how do you do that do i mix some with hot water and scrub the slabs or just sprinkle some on the wet surface after scrubbing them

Hi, we sprinkle it on when the slabs are dry and then put aubiose on top and have never had a problem.

I sprinkle it around dry but it's fine to spread on wet, recently cleaned areas too.

Stalosan is great, but if you also want a nice wet disinfectant there are lots to choose from. I like Virkon, but poultry shield is good too... take a look at your favourite poultry supplier to find lots more!
