pips_pekins
Hi. Since having chickens my family have felt quite neglected particularly at the weekends. So, me and my guilty conscience are preparing a big roast dinner for them. It will be the first I have made this year . Mind you, I have sat out with the chickens whilst peeling the veg and can watch them from my kitchen whilst preparing it all so really it has allowed me even more chicken watching time I never thought keeping chickens would so much fun and sooo time consuming. Reikiranf
I'm also finding it fattening As I spend so much time sitting in the garden watching them & usually with a cuppa and a nice cake I've made to use up a few eggs
Luvachicken
I like watching my chickens from the kitchen window whilst doing roast dinner too - but be careful, I'm so busy looking at what they are doing I don't always pay attention to what my hand with the potato peeler in is doing ouch
Space Chick
Mine know when I'm peeling veg now they jump up on the kitchen windowsill as I give them the peelings (Note: No potato peelings, as raw they are poisonous....however, I am allergic to spuds anyway so never peel them )
