Luvachicken
This morning when I woke the rabbits up I noticed that poor Wispa was covered in slug trail all over his back. There is often slug trail along the front of his house and sometimes near his food bowl but this was the first time it has been on him. Wispa is on the ground floor of the house and Crunchie has the upstairs and doesn't seem to suffer from the slugs so much. The house is about a foot off the floor and I gave them a thorough cleaning earlier and found no slug, I know they tend to come at night. Does anyone have any ideas to keep the slugs away ? It is a wooden house if that helps.
beach chick
oh poor wispa! if it's any consolation, I found a slug trail in my BEDROOM this morning I dont think they actuallly do any harm, its more a consequence of dampness (or I hope in my case a cat bringing a slug or snail indoors). lillybettybabs
what about putting some of the copper banding around the legs of the hutch to stop them slithering up into the hutch. I've seen it in garden centres i think.

Luvachicken
The 2p's sound like a cheap alternative, so I might give that a go, especially as my purse seems full of them. Thanks for that, I'll let you know if it works.
