chicken bark
So while I had the camera out snapping Summer and her babies I thought I'd take a few others too. Here is Summer - they have all settled well now. My Pekins are coming up to 5 weeks old and as the weather is mild I thought they could move outside. Sorry for the poor quality - they were quick! Here are a couple of photos of my 9 week old Faverolles. Finally a couple of my 13 week old Silver Laced Wyandottes. The boy has a single comb and has always been destined for the table. I'll be doing a course in a couple of weeks to show me 'how' to do it. Thanks for looking.

clucker1
They are gorgeous! Your pics have arrived at an unfortunate time!!!!! I have just been chatting to a friend who has told me about a local battery farm where sometimes you can pick up 8-9 week old battery chicks....and I have just (this last weekend) had a WIR delivered, so now loads of space. Was going to get 2 POL hybrids in August/September when we get back from our holiday. Perhaps chicks a few months after???? Anyway, your pics are lovely.
