So while I had the camera out snapping Summer and her babies I thought I'd take a few others too.

 

Here is Summer - they have all settled well now.

 

My Pekins are coming up to 5 weeks old and as the weather is mild I thought they could move outside. Sorry for the poor quality - they were quick!

 

Here are a couple of photos of my 9 week old Faverolles.

 

Finally a couple of my 13 week old Silver Laced Wyandottes. The boy has a single comb and has always been destined for the table. I'll be doing a course in a couple of weeks to show me 'how' to do it.

They are gorgeous! Your pics have arrived at an unfortunate time!!!!! I have just been chatting to a friend who has told me about a local battery farm where sometimes you can pick up 8-9 week old battery chicks....and I have just (this last weekend) had a WIR delivered, so now loads of space.

 

Was going to get 2 POL hybrids in August/September when we get back from our holiday. Perhaps chicks a few months after???? Anyway, your pics are lovely.

I just love pekins. And pekin chicks, well life doesn't get much better

 

The place I get my feed from has some pekin babies in lovely colours like yours. My OH won't let me go on my own now!

Wow you have so many you lucky thing! They are adorable. I think we should start the "pekin appreciation society "on the forum!!

I didn't mean to have so many Pekins. At the moment I have 20. The last hatch was just very good. Will have to sell some and rehome some boys.
