Sad news- Sue and Shaun Hammond are retiring, and there will be a sale of birds, housing, incubators etc on 3rd September, according to September issue.

What a shame. Lovely people who have a fantastic collection of hens. I bet that sale will be packed out.

Hope they have a happy retirement, Shaun & Sue are lovely people. My first 4 girls came from Wernlas and they gave me lots of advice.

Such a shame, I had all my hens from them, such lovely people also and a nice day out there too!

It is a real shame - I have had some great girls and hatching eggs from them over the years. I hope they have a great retirement, but is a shame such an internationally acclaimed collection is being broken up and not being sold as a going concern basis. 3rd September auction will be busy I think!!
