kevtheplumber Posted September 3, 2011 Share Posted September 3, 2011 Can anyone recommend a good supplier of mite powder in a large tub, prefer theclarge tub as you can dust the chicken over the tub. Plum Posted September 4, 2011 Share Posted September 4, 2011 I use water and washing up liquid but Poultryshield cleans them easier. Lewis Posted September 4, 2011 Share Posted September 4, 2011 I get Diatom from Cotswold Chickens - 2kg and above come in tubs, right up to 10kg ... plenty to dust a chook over I use a Cleaning Brush for the roosting bars, or the jet wash for a good clean! The Dogmother Posted September 5, 2011 Share Posted September 5, 2011 I use an equine bucket brush with a solution of Total Mite Kill concentrate to wash the housing, then powder with Buz Busters - works well for my housing and haven't had any bugs this year.
