Charlottechicken
I made this last year, with a bit of leftover pumpkin, and made another last week with the last of last years pumpkin, found lurking in the freezer. It is lovely! BBC Good Food pumpkin and ginger tea bread recipe My own effort is on my blog!

Chicken Licken
I have just taken it out of the oven. The house smells deliciously full of warm honey and ginger - Let's hope it tasted as good as it smells.
Snowy
Sounds delicious - one to try as soon as I spot a pumpkin!

Looney
Brilliant! My mum delivered 4 pumpkins from her allotment so I may give this a go!
Snowy
Mmmmmmmmmmmm! The boys finally did their pumpkins today so I made a loaf after tea. No honey (only discovered after weighing out everything else ), so used golden syrup instead. Just had my first slice - deeelicious!
Lavenders_Blue
This sounds lovely. I have a massive squash from my Dad's allotment (meant to be butternut but has obviously hybridised with something - a marrow by the looks of it!) and I've scratching my head trying to think of ways to use this monster up! This sounds like a lovely way of getting rid of a bit more squash!
Lavenders_Blue
Made my pumpkin/squash and ginger loaf this morning, but I think I've taken it out of the oven a bit prematurely I gave the loaf 50 mins then tested with a cocktail stick which came out clean. However... it's very squidgy in the middle so I am assuming not quite cooked properly. Hey ho, never mind it will be lovely hot with some custard or ice cream!
