Parsley Posted October 2, 2011 Share Posted October 2, 2011 I had a go at showing some of my ladies today at the autumn south of england show. It has been a very long day and my girls coped with the heat and excitement far better than I did. My white crested black Poland Carman Miranda came 2nd in the pet class and my friend came first with one of her Sulmtalers. We were very happy as we beat Arthur the duck who wins it all the time apparently However, it still has not quite sunk in that my Sulmtaler Milly won best bantam rare breed and then went on to win overall best rare breed in the show ending up in champions row She even laid an egg whilst up there I was very chuffed when I was congratulated on how well prepared and presented she was. Milly's moment of glory came to an abrupt end when she got home and was duffed up by her sister Tilly for going out for the day without her Thank you to the Omleteers that answered my cry for help and gave me advice on showing.
