Can you make a mini poly tunnel from an eglu run + clear polythene sheet?

Strong enough not to blow away or get the birds in and then could plant them out after that? Hopefully sheep holding pen will be fertile aswell, just hopefully not too fertile!

We've been starting off seeds in an electric propagator..... Wish we'd got the greenhouse sooner for the allotment last year.... Getting a poly tunnel early I'm sure would be an investment to your summer and autumn food.

We've already started off some early tomatoes and aubergines at home.... They'll go to the greenhouse on the allotment later

To male the most of the seasons you really do need an undercover growing area, not essential of course but it will really help

You can make a very effective polytunnel from a wood frame and blue water pipe as the hoops, or you can buy the cheap plastic greenhouses but with a bolted metal frame nowadays which are a vast improvement on the old ones (though still need shelter!) or even just a normal greenhouse, they sell secondhand on ebay for £50-£100 - even if you get a polytunnel later on a greenhouse will never be a wasted investment especially if its near the house

Had new washer delivered today. Waht a palava! Neihbour had to take quad bike & trailer down the track, over the bridge to our farm type gate. No way could the huuuuuge lorry get up to us! Roller trucked washer into trailer, zoomed up the track & it's now standing slap bang in the middle of my kitchen. So funny you had to be there to see the funny side! Driver said " why can't you live in a city"?

Now why on earth would I want to do that?

Such funny little things happen here & we just shrug our shoulders & get on with it. Things like this really tickle me. It's like Last of the Summer Wine!!
